Early celebration by Nino Cerruti in Shanghai this week for its 100th store which will open later this month in Shenzhen.
WWD reports of widespread rumor that Trinity Limited, Cerruti’s Chinese licensee and a part of Li & Fung Group, is planning to buy the brand. Nino Cerruti founded the fashion house in 1967 in Paris and sold it to Italian investors back in 2000.
The Cerruti brand features men and women ready-to-wear collections, jeans, sportswear, fragrances, leather goods, watches, and accessories. The fashion house offers three lines:Cerruti (top line), Cerruti 1881 (diffusion line) and 18CRR81 (sportswear).
The dinner party brought out Shanghai socialites and Chinese designers including Masha Ma, Chris Zhang and Han Feng.
